Rickey N. Oglesby, Jr. has lived in Smyrna, GA with his wife LaToya for over 12 years and have two children attending Nickajack Elementary. Mr. Oglesby also has a son who is a senior at Savannah State University.

Rickey has a bachelor’s degree in history/political science from Paine College, a master’s Business Administration from South University, and is currently enrolled in Emory University Certified Financial Planner course. Rickey works as a Private Banker - Assistant Vice President SFO II, LIT for a major financial institution.

He is a Georgia National Guard veteran where he worked as Human Intel Collector.  Rickey's passion is volunteering in the community, supporting public schools, youth athletics, and local business owners.  He loves volunteering as track coach for the Smyrna Elite Track Team, and serves on the Nickajack Elementary School Principal's Advisory Board.
