Teen Time: Craft for a Cause
13-18 years old
Tuesday, September 14th 6:00PM-7:00PM
Smyrna Library, Meeting Room
The most relaxing and rewarding hour of the month: Crafts for a Cause! On the second Tuesday of every month, local teens (aged 13-18) meet at 6:00PM to make a new craft that benefits the community. Teens have created everything from snowman sock stuffies for hospitalized kids, to beautiful wreaths for nursing home residents, and much more. Each participating teen will receive volunteer service time for each monthly program attended (plus unlimited warm fuzzies).
Color A Smile is a nonprofit organization that distributes thousands of cheerful drawings each month to anyone in need of a smile. With so many kids and adults staying at home due to Covid-19, as well as senior citizens and troops overseas, there are millions of people who could use a smile! We'll have all the supplies you need. (But if you want to bring your own coloring pages and markers/crayons, go for it!) See you then!
