Teen Time: Craft for a Cause

The most relaxing and rewarding hour of the month: Crafts for a Cause! On the second Tuesday of every month, local teens (aged 13-18) meet at 6:00PM to make a new craft that benefits the community. Teens have created everything from snowman sock stuffies for hospitalized kids, to beautiful wreaths for nursing home residents, and much more. Each participating teen will receive volunteer service time for each monthly program attended (plus unlimited warm fuzzies).
Harry Potter Ornaments for Literacy: Ferst Readers of Cobb County provide an age-specific book each month to children from low-income areas. We’ll be creating Harry Potter themed ornaments that the library will sell to raise money for the Smyrna branch of this organization.
