This year's festival will be located around City Hall. Streets in front of and behind City Hall will be closed and the large parking lot behind City Hall will be hosting booths in a portion of the lower lot as well. For Saturday and Sunday, parking is available at the Methodist Church at King and Atlanta Road as well as the Market Village side of the the Baptist Church. The parking lot across form Smyrna First Baptist will be closed on Sunday due to a separate event, but is available on Saturday for parking.
The Smyrna Spring Jonquil Festival features over 150 Arts & Crafts booths, 12 food booths, an entertainment stage, and a variety of children's activities. The Jonquils will be in bloom in the midst of spring time in Smyrna. Bring the family and shop, play, eat, drink and just have a great day together.
Artisans from all over the southeast feature their own hand-made crafts, paintings, clothing, furniture, jewelry and much more. The festival foods include: cotton candy, candy apples, corn dogs, hand-dipped ice cream, snow cones, polish sausage, chicken sandwiches, and BBQ. The huge interactive children's area includes big and small inflatable activities, sand art, and more. So whether it’s your child or the child in you, there are plenty of food and activities for the whole family to enjoy.
The festival hours of operation are 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., on Saturday, April 23, and noon - 5:00 p.m., on Sunday, April 24. Admission is FREE.
Additional note about parking: Friday and Saturday, parking is available behind each building of the Market Village and the Smyrna First Baptist parking lots off King Street. On Sunday, one of the church lots will not be available for Festival parking and will have signage posted indicating no Festival parking. If parking behind Market Village buildings, please do not park in or block residential drives. To access these areas you will use either the entrance/exit off King across from Stephens Street for the Smyrna First Baptist side and use the entrance/exit off Atlanta Road at The Bubble Tea and Nothing Bunt Cakes entrance.
