Teen Time: Craft for a Cause 13-18 years old Tuesday, March 8th 6:00PM-7:00PM Smyrna Library, Meeting Room
The most relaxing and rewarding hour of the month: Crafts for a Cause! On the second Tuesday of every month, local teens (aged 13-18) meet at 6:00PM to make a new craft that benefits the community. Teens have created everything from snowman sock stuffies for hospitalized kids, to beautiful wreaths for nursing home residents, and much more. Each participating teen will receive volunteer service time for each monthly program attended (plus unlimited warm fuzzies).
Beaded Talismans: Families that suffer from domestic violence need protection and vital resources. While we can’t provide those resources, we can offer support through our crafts. Every talisman we make will symbolize safety and protection for local victims of abuse.
