2022 Summer Reading Program Event
For ages 4-10 years old
Tuesday, June 28 at 3:00pm
Registration Required
Smyrna Library, Parking Lot
Out of the Box is a mobile science museum that brings to life the vast science of the seas through stories from cultures around the world. Learn how Maui formed the islands of Hawaii, how hot air and cold air give us huge waves and hurricanes, all about the prehistoric Megalodon and touch a fossilized tooth from this giant and see and touch a mounted shark and a real 2-FOOT-WIDE SHARK JAW! Receive a take home shark activity pack at the end of your visit.
This event is a self-guided tour through the Out of the Box Mobile Museum. The museum will be in the parking lot. Please register for a “start time” to enter the exhibit so that we can stagger museum entrance to maintain social distance. Allow 10-15 minutes to complete the exhibit.
