Family STEM Day: Constructing with KEVA Planks
Friday, June 30
11:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Smyrna Library Meeting Room
ages: 5-12 years old PLUS parent/grandparent/caregiver
RSVP – registration required
Family STEM Day is designed for kids and parents to build and learn together. Using KEVA Planks, create intricate, tunnels, towers, ramps, and chutes with this interactive STEM toy. No glue, tools, or connectors required — just simple stacking and the laws of gravity. As you build, learn the principals of slope, velocity, force, momentum, and balance.
Family STEM Day is not a drop-in program for all ages. It is designed to be a one-to-one learning experience for elementary-age children and their parent/caregiver. The activities are too complex for younger children.
