Bring One For The Chipper
Bring One for the Chipper is Keep Smyrna Beautiful’s annual Christmas tree recycling event. Rather than ending up in a landfill, the thousands of trees taken at this event are chipped by Davey Tree Company who makes the mulch from the trees available to businesses, schools, and residents free of charge.
Tree seedlings are available to participants as supplies last. This event is open to everyone and free of charge. If you would like to support this event and others like it, you can donate here.
Bringing Your Tree
Bring One for the Chipper is for live trees only.
Not accepted at the event:
- Artificial trees
- Trees with lights or ornaments
- Flocked trees
- Garland or wreaths (the wire make them ineligible for chipping)

If you cannot make it during this time, remember that the Smyrna Recycling Center accepts electronics, including string holiday lights, all year round!
