Rain Barrel Workshop

Rain barrels are a great way to conserve water and help improve local water quality. Keeping and using rain water on your property helps reduce pollution, erosion and improves local watershed health. This session will use kits and recycled barrels. Participants will take home a completed project to harvest roof runoff to water plants or gardens.
The workshop is free of charge. All supplies are provided by Cobb County Watershed and Smyrna Public Library. The workshop is outside so please wear sunscreen and clothes/shoes that can get wet/dirty.
Class size is limited to 10. (If you or someone is your household has participated in the Rain Barrel Workshop previously, please do not sign up.)
Workshop will take place outside library on the lawn next to the toddler playground.
