Racial Trust Building Initiative: Breakfast Speaker Series
As part of the city's Racial Trust Building Initiative, the City of Smyrna is hosting its next Breakfast Speaker Series on Wednesday, October 23rd at the Smyrna Community Center. The Breakfast Speaker Series invites qualified guest speakers to engage audiences in community issues.

Our guest speaker will be Bridges Holmes, Vice President of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Sustainability at The Adecco Group North America. Bridges will lead an engaging talk about his life story, titled "Everyone Has a Story."

Registration is free and open to the community. Breakfast will be served. Attendance is limited, so please register to reserve your spot.

As The Adecco Group’s Vice President and Head of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion for North America, Bridges is responsible for efforts ensuring that each of the company’s distinct lines of business is best positioned to operate in its aim to ‘make the future work for everyone.’ He leverages his career experiences in global non-profits, local government and the private sector to bring a

 pragmatic perspective of how to operationalize diversity, equity and inclusion that helps create meaningful outcomes for the organizations’ colleagues, clients, candidates and communities.

Bridges has served in a variety of roles in sales and recruiting; created sustained internship and early career pipeline programs; and has led teams responsible for talent management and employee experience. He has also been recognized by Staffing Industry Analysts as a trailblazing DEI influencer for 2022 and 2023, and is known for connecting people, process and passion to drive real change.

He is a true, Smyrna native. Bridges is married to his long time college sweetheart Joyette and they have two daughters – Morgan and Reagan, both in college.
